La Feria Concreta: A Documentary Film Installation

La Feria Concreta: A Documentary Film Installation by Laboratorio de Arquitectura Dominicana seeks funding

The Laboratorio de Arquitectura (LAD), curators of  the Dominican Republic’s first-ever Venice Architecture Biennale participation, have launched a Kickstarter campaign to produce the short documentary La Feria Concreta.

The 8 minute documentary film installation will focus on the daily life of La Feria and how people experience it, night and day.

The focus LAD's exhibit is the grounds of La Feria.
a complex of buildings and monuments in the city of Santo Domingo built in the 1950s by the brutal dictator Rafael Leonidas Trujillo. La Feria was Trujillo’s stage to demonstrate his power and wealth to the world. Today it is a very different place.

Add you name to this project by supporting LAD with a donation through Kickstarter.
