Domingo Guaba, Sculptor, Painter

Domingo Alberto Guaba Rodríguez, was born in Santo Domingo in 1978. He is a self-taught multideciplinary artist, creating sculptures in resin, bronze and paper. His paintings are usually oil based.

In 2004, his sculpture, "La Gran Ciguapa," recieved the Audience Award (Premio del Publico), at the XX Eduardo León Jimenes Art Contest in Santiago, RD. And in 2005,

La Gran Ciguapa was exhibited at the reception hall in Dominican Consulate in New York City.
