Lyle O. Reitzel New York

Lyle O. Reitzel Contemporary Art Gallery has opened its doors in New York City. Located at 139 Eldridge Street, LOR NY has joined the more than 200 art galleries that have turned the Lower East Side into New York’s Most Important Art District.

In 1988 Lyle O. Reitzel began his career as an "art marchante", promoting a select group of underground contemporary artists. Seven years later he opened the Lyle O. Reitzel Contemporary Art Gallery in Santo Domingo.

The gallery has promoted works by many great contemporary artist from the Dominican Republic, such as: Jose García Cordero, Gerard Ellis, Raul Recio, Scherezade García, Firelei Baez, Hulda Guzmán, Gustavo Peña and Tania Marmolejo.
