Dominican Students Excel at FIT

Every Spring the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), showcases the best work of FIT’s graduating bachelor of art fashion design students in a professional runway show dubbed, The Future of Fashion.

Students that receive the FIT Critic Award, have their works showcased down the runway, in front of a group of judges composed of fashion-media professionals.

This year, the event is set for Thursday, May 1, 2014.

Dominicans On The Runway

The Class of 2014 features students with origin's from all around the world. Several of them trace their heritage back to the Dominican Republic.
